child tax credits-baffled

Hey hope someone can help me!

I went for IS interview as been on it for 6 months and jobcentre adviser said im not getting the right amount of CTC and that it goes down in April and she said this was wrong. So she phones tax credits but they just sed it was right etc. I phoned myself when i got home and again they said its right!

The thing is i had my baby on 23/10/10 and get £63 a week, in April this goes down to £54 a week. My sister in law had a baby on 19/10/10 and got £65.17 a week, every week until child reached 1.

The tax credits say its because i had the baby half way thru tax year that mine drops so much, yet hers didnt!?!?

Im getting nowher! xx

it will go down . the baby element is being stopped in April.


i think you put the wrong date in for your sister in laws baby btw.
