I think people just missed it before.
When I got 1 of these cards before, I had never been to the vue near me as it is a little further away than the other cinemas. However, when we went we found it was a really great deal. The cinema is always almost totally empty as these films are notnew releases- so Vue gain from you going. You can take the kids and they will usually just sell you 4 for 2 or 6 for 3 without any problem.
And as you say, it is in fact the most popular films that hang around the longest.
