On shop but don't drop thread, http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=299632 crazy_guy has posted about this card which lots of people will remember from last year when it was available with Max factor.
It is a two for one discount card at Vue and I thought the people on this board might have missed it- it works on lots of films, just not the very newest releases. It lasts till February, so for the price of a dvd from cd-wow you can get a card to save repeatedly.

Thank you, I've applied for mine  I had the Max Factor one too, but there didn't seem to be many films on at my local cinema that I could use it on. Looks like things have improved this time, there are loads showing for my local, can't wait for it to arrive!! :j0

I thought that this link was a bit odd.
The original offer from CD Wow actually points directly to this link:
http://www13.cd-wow.com/vue2for1.php?affid=17564
....well, in its Terms and Conditions.
However, it specifically asks you to buy from a specific link.
It's hard to tell whether they made a mistake and you automatically get a 241 card if you sign up, or whether the link that they insist you use to make the purchase forms some sort of validation list which they forward to Vue for them to verify against.

Did a bit of searching on this- another way to get one for your kids or any young mse'rs would be to sign up for a dubitcard from http://www.dubitcard.co.uk/
which is some kind of youth discount card scheme that looks good. Or you can sign up to an account with firstdirect, but it was one you had to pay for, so a bit drastic.0 -
