I have a similar problem, so I just condition the length but not the roots. I use HE Hello Hydration, or Aussie Mega Instant Conditioner.0

Lush sell a conditioner for greasy hair, it's called veganese.
It's very light, but still very conditioning. I have very greasy hair, but with veganese I can apply it to my whole head, not just the ends.0 -
i've just discovered a new-ish range from herbal essences. they do a 'fresh balance clarifying shampoo' which is designed for either greasy hair or normal hair that is treated with a lot of product. I can't remember the last time my hair felt so clean. Boots did have it on offer last week - BOGOF on the 400ml bottles of shampoo and conditioner (around £3 something a bottle in that size, or £2 for the smaller £200ml bottles but they weren't on BOGOF)know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

Hi, thank you for your replies. Is the Herbal Essences OK for sensitive scalp as I do have an itchy scalp. It sounds good though and not too expensive.0 -

I used to use this when I had excessive product in my hair and felt it needed a super clean so that I could start again, its excellent for that and your right about your hair feeling super clean afterwards, however, a word of warning, this product will strip the colour from your hair very quickly if you have dyed hair:eek:Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
I go between a few conditioners for my greasy hair but always return to Tigi Dumb Blonde which is light and leaves my hair in great condition without striping my hair.

Try reducing the frequency of washes and/or the amount of shampoo you use.
Likewise with the conditioner.Student of the science of beauty0 -

This is the best advice:) I only wash my hair every ten days now but I've had to build up to that, its never greasy and it never looks dirty or smells and its in the best condition its ever been, I was only able to stretch it this long because I changed to a volumising shampoo and conditioner so no dreaded dimethicone (sp?) which is what weighs heavily on hair making it look and become greasy very quickly, I'm aiming for every two weeks now;)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0
