:eek:CAN ANYONE OUT THEIR ADVISE ME WHAT OPTIONS I HAVE LEFT REGARDING A COMPLETE SHAMBLES WITH THE DEPT OF WORK AND PENSIONS.WE HAVE BEEN GETTING PENSION CREDIT SINCE MY HUSBANDS RETIRED 6 YEARS AGO PLUS THE STATE PENSION, LAST OCTOBER WE DECIDED TO GO BACK TO AUSTRALIA SO RANG INTERNATIONAL PENSION TO LET THEM KNOW,(BEEN BACK IN UK SINCE 2000 ARE UK CITIZENS)BUT UNFORTUNATLY DUE TO UNFORSSEN CIRCUMSTANCES WE WERE ONLY IN OZ 2 WEEKS AND HAD TO RETURN TO UK. RANG INTERNATIONAL PENSION AGAIN TO CONFIRM .
STATE PENSION AND PENSION CREDIT WAS PAID INTO BANK AS USUAL FOR 3 WEEKS THEN PENSION CREDIT STOPPED,WE RANG UP PENSION CREDIT BUT THEY HAD LOST US ON SYSTEM TOOK 5 WEEKS TO FIND CORRECT LOCATION OFFICE, TOLD US THEY WOULD SORT IT AFTER XMAS, WE ARE STILL WAITING, RANG THEM EVERY WEEK SINCE XMAS AND STILL NO FURTHER FORWARD, THEN 2 WEEKS AGO MY HUSBANDS STATE PENSION STOPPED , RANG THE DEPT , THEY ASSURED US SOMETIMES THIS CAN HAPPEN BUT SAID HE WOULD GET IT MADE UP THE FOLLOWING WEEK, GUESS WHAT, NO STATE PENSION PUT IN AGAIN, YET MY STATE PENSION IS STILL GOING INTO BANK, GETTING FED UP RINGING THEM UP AS GETTING NOWHERE, IS THERE ANY OTHER OPTIONS AVAILABLE, AS CAN NOT LIVE ON MY PENSION FOR MUCH LONGER, BILLS TO PAY ECT.

How were you getting both Pension Credit and a state pension?

Because state pension can be topped up with pension credits thats why!

Whilst pension credits are dealt with in a remote call centre you will have a local visiting office therefore you should ask for a visiting officer to come from your local office. Then you will have a named person who can help find your claim and maybe start a new claim whilst you wait.

Talking to your MP is quite a good way of getting DWP to look a something properly and in a timely fashion.

Im sorry , i cant offer any help on your problem but i did just want to say that your post is incredibly hard on the eyes !

If you wrote your posts in ordinary writing as opposed to the bold you used and spaced it out using paragraphs it would be much easier to read. Maybe then you would get more advice....people tend to give up after the first few lines if its hard to read.

it may be easier for you to have a visit from a Pensions Officer as advised in a previous post as they will collect all the info that the Pension Service need to put things back into payment

Depends on the area, they're pretty short staffed at the moment and in our area they're only doing the visits for clients who are basically disabled.

MP always works well as they have more clout. If you've left the country and informed the PS they would have stopped your claim, have you rang the New Claims line to make sure you've made a New Claim?

There can be delays transferring cases from different Pension Centres, such as from the International PC. It can happen, it's just pot luck getting someone who either can fix it or will do a hand off to the right section. I would advise getting in touch with an Advice agency, Age Concern if you have one in your area and ask them to ring.

And crisis loan in the meantime.
