Virgin Money registration problems

Options
Hi, anyone having problems with the Virgin Money website? I'm trying to register for online banking but when I put my card details in I'm just told "the server is temporarily unavailable, please try again later"

I've been trying for a few days, they seemed uninterested in the website problems over the phone, almost insisting instead that I take out card insurance with them. An email to their base here in Norwich has not yet produced a reply.

Having a credit card is of no use to me unless I can check up on things online, so if I get nowhere with this I may forget this card and try somewhere else!

  • Try going through www.mbna.co.uk and click register through that website. It's the same company so all your account details will be registered fine.

As previous discussed The virgin Credit card is run by MBNA/Bank of America in Chester, UK. They are not based in Norwich.

If you are having trouble getting online you can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 0800 062 062 or you can send a secure message through the website.

You can also try logging on the generic website www.bankcardservices.co.uk
  • Thanks for your replies and help. I had tried the MBNA site before I posted here and I've tried again just now but with the same results. As my first post said, they weren't interested in the website when I called, perhaps they don't see it as a priority, maybe most of their customers don't bother with the web? Don't know.

Will leave it til next week, see what happens, if nothing then I'll go elsewhere for a credit card.
