Hi - I wondered whether someone on here could help?
I have just fitted a new cartridge (part number 903.33) in my Mira Excel shower, but turning the temperature control hub has no effect on the water temperature - any idea why this might be?

there is a certain procedure to follow when installing an excel shower. the maximum temp setting is important.
ps,
is the boiler working ok and is the water pressure ok?Get some gorm.0 -
Thanks - I looked at this manual earlier, and I think the shower I have is a bit older as there is no lever on mine, but the maximum temperature adjustment is still the same. In fact, there is no way of controlling the temperature of the water at all when the shower is running, other than increasing or decreasing the water flow - if the pressure knob is turned down low, the water gets hotter. The temperature control knob does nothing at all.
And the boiler and water pressure are fine.0
