Should I appeal again?

Hi,
I recently appealed a parking ticket I received in Coventry which was refused. I used to live on a busy bus-route, Terry Road which allowed non-residents to park at weekends.
Since leaving University I went to visit my friend who lives on quiet Gordon Street, we were both unaware that the rules were different and I received a ticket on a Saturday.
Do you think I have any leg to stand on due to the inconsistency of Coventry City Council rules? Or should I get out while I can with the reduced £30 fee.
Many thanks, and f**k you Coventry City Council!

It has got to be worth appealing any Council parking ticket all the way to the adjudicator every time IMHO, why would you not? You only risk eventually, possibly, being told to pay the full fine. But you have a higher chance of having the ticket cancelled completely (most in cases which go that far the motorist wins or the Council fold).
The odds are in your favour to continue appealing, but do get pepipoo help:

Councils are well known to turn down most informal appeals, so that was not a surprise but the initial rejection does NOT mean you have not got a case! Read the pepipoo FAQs and stickies, take a clear picture or scan of both sides of your PCN (as per their sticky 'how to post pictures') blank off car ID and PCN number and attach it to a new thread asap.
You will probably be pleasantly surprised...usually there are several points of appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Follow the link as advised. Coventry PCNs are legally flawed.0
