Please help - total laptop novice!!

I have today purchased the Acer 5103WLMi laptop from Tesco £597.97 - trouble is I have read the small manual and none the wiser! In simplistic terms please - I want to be able to take it to an exhibition, and overseas and be able to send emails and get online - what do I need to do ???

Well you can make use of wifi hot-spots that exist around and about, your laptop has wi-fi built in so provided you are in range of somewhere then you could use that, some charge, some don't. Most hotels etc these days have hook ups either wireless or via network cable to their broadband.

Otherwise you are looking at a 3G Broadband/3g/GPRS card to fit in your pcmcia slot, or usb with adapter tied to a provider.

    Hope it helps a bit.
Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow.

We direct all our customers to Tesco for the laptops, prices are very good and you dont haveto pay delivery costs, obviously.
Just owe Dad £2500 for a new car
