my screen has a stutter!

Hi
I have a laptop (fujitsu..)
Its a couple of years old.
when I scroll up or down a webpage, word document etc the screen stutters as it goes down the page.
do you know what I mean ?
if you do and know how to make better, i would appreciate your advice.

Could be a graphics driver problem try reinstalling the graphics driver and see of that helpsIf it doesn't fit, force it; if it breaks, it needed replacement anywaySarcasm helps keep you from telling people what you really think of them

thank you all for your quick replies.
but i dont have anything else to re install.
this was a laptop that had nothing with it. i bought windows xp on ebay and loaded this on.
i have no other disks or anything with it.
am I messed up big time ?

If you go to Start > control panel > system > Device manager, Check here for any yellow question marks, When you click on any item it will open a box where you can update driver, try this on your graphics card.Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm WELSH. .0

Just a word of warning! (As Martin would say....)
Never, ever, ever, update your graphics card drivers using the Microsoft Windows Update website.
I have tried this in desperation many times, but when you reboot, you can't see anything on the screen. It's just a blank screen.
Your best bet would be to find out who the manufacturer is either by following the steps shown by alanwjones or by opening the case and checking on the card itself and then downloading them from the manufacturers website, but

As above you could also try ' Roll Back Driver' first.Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm WELSH. .0
