My OH has just been on the phone to Amex to cancel her card. Usual questions including "Why are you cancelling?" Stock answer of "Just spring cleaning the finances." At which point he asked of we had heard of Martin Lewis!
It seems Amex are keen to remain on Martin's best cards list. Not surprising, as I imagine many of their new customers come from his direction. Bless him, the advisor even recommended the use of cashback sites.:A
