Trim or remove leylandii?

horrible plant. We moved to a house and immediately removed 12 very tall ones. Immensely hard work. When we moved again we were put off by any leylandii anywhere in the vicinity
Last house with communal grounds, had a huge leylandi far enough away and we liked that one as it didn`t affect us but it was incredibly massive. Those trees can really take off0 -
