    I feel that you should go for the normal type of home carpets. Though the laminated one is also another option, but it can never match the beauty and feel of the normal carpet, at the same time it is necessary to take additional care of it, it will be easy to maintain if it is cleaned regularly. It also gives the carpet a fresh feel every time you clean it. So I think you should go for the normal home carpet.
