I just use opera on my other machine and I like that much better than IE 7.

I think it's just that it's got some of the functions/security that FF & Opera have always had, so for IE users it's all new & wonderful.0

If it doesn't fit, force it; if it breaks, it needed replacement anywaySarcasm helps keep you from telling people what you really think of them

The main thing is that they have changed how they render pages.... fortunately they backed out from the last Beta which made massive changes and made main websites totally unusable - of the hundred or so websites we have only 2 of them would have been fully useable if the beta had been released as the full app and even they were fairly poor.
I think that this combined with the introduction of tabbed browsing etc is what has caused all the hypeAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

I have been using the BETA for months now with no problems at all. Now with the full release it crashes when I try to open another tab and also closes down completely sometimes taking my explorer taskbar with it. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall it but its still the same0

Well I installed it onto my new laptop and then uninstalled it. Reason- I couldn't find anyway to access Favorites and and without that I am lost. That is the one thing that needs to be on the Toolbar and it wasn't. I shall stick to IE6 until they sort that one out!! All I could see was a Yahoo Toolbar with Bookmarks on it. I tried everything .0

I was using FF for last couple of years but been using IE7 as default since the full release and I've not had any problems with it. The only things I want of a browser IE now has and since I visit a few sites that are only compatible with IE it saves the hassle of switching between different browsers. I'll go back to FF or even opera if I find any major problems with it but so far there aren't."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I always use Firefox - there is an extension which you can download called IETab. You can then click on the icon in the bottom right hand corner to switch between IE and FF, or you can configure certain websites to always run in IE (in a FF tab!).
I run WindowsUpdate through Firefox, just to prove that it can be done.
