Sony Vaio Memory Upgrade

I currently have 512MB but struggling with some of my spreadsheets tonight due to the volume of data.

How easy is it to upgrade the memory please?

Just on the crucial website at the moment, one slot has 512MB, the other slot is free.

£46 for 512MB, the price doesn't seem to have dropped since I laqst checked 6 months ago

    Some sony vaios take special sony Ram so i would make sure thats the correct ram first

    Sony ram is fairly expensive too :beer:
    If it doesn't fit, force it; if it breaks, it needed replacement anyway

    I did a scan on crucial and they came up with a compatible so I guess it would be ok?

    i upgrade our vaio about 6 months ago and use

    it was £50 cheaper than most of the others - might be worth a go and they are on Quidco - you can also select your make/model so you are guaranteed that the RAM will work
