Next First Time Surfer £10 off £15 spend online

Went into Next today and as I walked in was accosted by a lady giving out vouchers for £10 off a £15 spend online. Its called 'First time surfer introductory offer' but i did tell the lady I had previously shopped online with Next but she still gave it to me in exchange for my email address. Not a bad deal I thought!

(First time post so please be kind!)

  • Got this 2 weeks ago,the only thing that put me off was that in order to qualify you had to open a credit account

I have used two of these with different email addresses, wasn't eligible for an account but still got the £10 off
  • I opened a credit account two days ago and the £10 off automatically applied.

I was signed up to a credit account with this offer last year without reading the small print - bad I know.

Just be careful as they will start charging you for the posh catalogues that will start arriving on your doorstep.
  • ....and you'll automatically be given a 2k-odd credit limit! Ridiculous!

I was in a Next store a couple weeks ago returning some items I had ordered from the directory. The woman at till gave me one of these "first time surfer" cards which gives £10 off. Problem is I don't think I can use it as I already have an account with them, so what was the point of the woman giving me one when she knew I had an account?

She probably is on commission for each email she gets. Weather or not they qualify/take up the offer is unlikely to affect her.

You can cancel the catalogues and just keep the account, but it means you may not be eligible for a VIP slot at the sales (not a big loss anyway as they are pretty rubbish)
  • i didnt get a voucher..can I have one if someone doesnt need it please....
  • Hi has anyone got a spare voucher code :)
