My Kids whom are both gamers and love their ds consoles .Have found the price of the new nintendio console the 3ds . Its £230.
Both kids are over 16 but think its over priced .
what do you think .to my way of thinking its a price point right up there with I pod touches and bottom end note books . Granted its nice but not over 200 pounds its a bit rich.

Gaming on a PC, get steam and you can get high end games 6 months old for 50-75%
once you get over paying actual price for the hardware (as opposed to perhaps 60% in a console) the number og games you can get reasonably is very good....
plus you can use a PC for 'useful' stuff too

- most kids who are avid die hard, hard core disciples [ at any age ] of consoles are that way if mam / dad are paying for the platform and the games.
- most kids who are avid die hard, hard core disciples [ at any age ] of consoles soon find they prefer PC's & Steam if they have to pay for the PC's and the games themselves.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. If your kids want it and you can afford it then buy them it.. If not then dont..
