Siblu holiday parks

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any good/bad reviews of Siblu holiday parks either France or Spain? We have a 3 year old and 18 month old(who will be 2 when we want to go). I've had a look for a week in June and prices are around £500 which is good cos I want to pay with my clubcard vouchers and I have £480 worth.

Can anyone reccomend a particular campsite?

Thanks in Advance!

    Hi Daisydoll

I have been twice to Le Bois Masson at St Jean De Monts and would definately recommend it.

    Things i liked

LOTS OF ENGLISH STAFF (AND ENGLISH SPEAKING FRENCH STAFF)
STILL RETAINED A 'FRENCH' FEEL THOUGH
    GREAT OUTSIDE POOL
CONVENIENT LOCATION - RIGHT NEXT TO LOVELY PINE FORESTS
FEW MINS DRIVE TO THE WONDERFUL BEACH AND CENTRE
ENGLISH FAST FOOD TAKEAWAY AND NICE FRENCH RESTAURANT ON SITE
ENGLISH ENTERTAINMENT, RORY THE TIGER ETC
    NICE CARAVAN

    Things i didnt like

SOME PARTS NEEDED IMPROVING, IE THE 'INTERNET ACCESS' WAS A RATHER OLD COMPUTER IN THE CORNER OF THE GIFT SHOP WHICH WAS ALWAYS BEING USED, AND THE GAMES ROOM MACHINES WERE OLD AND TIRED

THE 'CLUB' WAS A BIT SMALL AND CRAMPED

However on both occasions it has been beautiful weather and the beach is so nice, kids activities on beach and gorgeous sand, plenty of free parking.

Also there are 2 supermarkets (one just like Tesco and good prices) up the road and a sister park literally over the road which you have full access to.

I advise on the Cherbourg ferry - Calais is just too far. The Cherbourg crossing is 4 hours but choose the traditional style big ferry and get interior cabins, that way you have somewhere to go for the kids. But by the time you've wondered round, watched a movie on the big TV and done some balloon modelling you'll be arriving in France!

For a change i'm going to the next one down the west coast next year, les charmettes i think, hopefully that'll be just as nice!

By the way i advise you get a quote as a normal paying customer, and then say ' i might pay with clubcard vouchers'.

    Good luck, hope i've helped.

    Chris
