no, but my parent said to me if I die you can sell my house and enjoy yourself. and i thought do i save it or spend it, what if i lose my job, but if its 6 months later then im entitled to help as its past the cut of point for past bank statements.

Rather a simple decision isn't it? Of course you might sell the house and take a vacation, update your car etc. But surely that wouldn't be more than 10-15K, and I'm quite sure the house is worth more than that, so would you not use the money you had left over to support yourself should you fall on hard times?

Or, are you planning on knocking off the parent some time soon and are just putting your plan together or what? Sorry - seems a bizarre question - do I blow the money on a bunch of c*rp just to get rid of it, so that I can live a poor man's life on benefits instead? Something's really wrong with your mindset IMO.

i find last post offensive ,hang your head in shame, my parent is old and ill and she said said split the money between you and brother, there is still money owed in a mortage tho,my parents always wanted us to enjoy the money they made on sale of years of rent to council when they bought their house.of council, they know there is no way i can get a £130000 mortage on min wage in rural lack of jobs area of england. so mother said most is say £35000 each, she wants me to have things she didnt, nice car, holidays, nice house furniture, bit of savings
but my point is i want a bit of savings but any job is unsafe these days and anytime ive been unemployed only 2 times in past the council ask for 3 months banks statements. theyre is little chance of on min wage in the rural area i live to afford a good holiday, new car etc, so why shouldnt i do ask my mother says rather than waste her money on rent council tax in a coucill house with out of date carpets,tv old car that dont start. let some graduate with great credit history and manager job buy her house in the part of uk where there is jobs.
Christians Against Poverty solved my debt problem, when all other debt charities failed. Give them a call !! ( You don't have to be a Christian ! )
