I have been collecting the boots points so this Christmas I could get one of the kids pressies with it. I want to get the ipod nano but I can only see it online. I rung the shops and they didn't know when and if they'll get one. Has anyone bought something online, return it in the shop and buy it straight away with points?
  • Apologies if this has already been posted as haven't had time to search thru thread tonight but this is such a fab offer:

Really lovely gift set & free with just a £5 Boots '17' purchase! I got a couple of eye-shadows, a nail polish & makeup pencil sharpener splitting into £5 purchases so I got 1 set each for my girls for Xmas :-)

I had one of these again, this is my 3rd one. I noticed that my new invitation for next week has a ruby & millie offer on as well as the £10 voucher for a £170 spend.
My invitation had only Ruby&Millie offer, no £10 OFF £170.
If you won't use it, maybe you can send it to me? c085.gif Would be happy to send SAE. c085.gif

    Hi Anta

I picked up a 10% voucher like this

I didn't see any in my local store and it saved me £20 on the last Christmas shopping night!!
  • Popped into Boots yesterday for some cold relief tablets (which were half price at 99p) and you get a free winter survival kit which has 10 sachets of Benylin Chesty Cough medicine + vouchers + small pack of tissues. Well worth a look!
Young, happy but bogged down with a mortgage!

I got the winter survival kit as well. Has anyone used the vouchers and what is the best use? Any ideas.

    Thanks
  • Vouchers except for those from ac machines cannot be used at the same time as a triple points offer. Sorry if this has already been posted!

I tried to use the vouchers from the free No.7 bag yesterday and the till wouldnt accept them. So just asked for a refund and will buy the things another time. Sa did refunds and refunded points.

I had 3 for 2 gifts, one was a No.7 giftset, but sa refunded the full cost of the 3 items so am 5 pounds in credit on my cc (didnt notice til much later). Sa also only took 30 pounds worth of points (120 points) off my ac, so after the refund i had only actually spent 15 pounds but still had my triple points plus the voucher i had used from the ac machine for 300 extra points on a spend of over 40 pounds. I had also got some herbal tablets for 5.99 bringing the full total to 45.99 but have got a refund of 35.99.

Was really  that i couldnt use my extra points vouchers but this makes up for it!

Hope this helps someone if they can try the same thing and still keep all the extra points:j

I don't see why not!. I had the double voucher, the voucher for 300 points and also the voucher for 200 on the shampoo. ? Very wierd. All my vouchers went fine on me. ;) Are you sure it wasn't the SA?

    Thanks

Bobsa1 - the cheapest - and probably most useful really - product that I found to use vouchers on was a pack of Boots Multivitamins x30. They cost approx £1.55 - and the voucher gives you 300 points I think - so bargain there.

Would suggest using the 250 points No.7 voucher with the voucher for 200 points off No.7 Extravagent Lashes mascara from Boots magazine = 450 points extra - but it appears that the product has been recalled. Let e know if you find a good way to use your No.7 vouchers!
  • The sa went to a manager who told her she couldnt use the vouchers, and i wasnt going to demand to see the manager to ask why. I can buy them another time. They are insistant that vouchers cant be used in conjuction with triple points, apart from ac machine offers.

Cant complain though after getting all those points and 5 pounds back!
