In addition to those lines already posted I have also had:

- Instant glow tinted moisturiser
- Responsive moisture lotion
- Day shift moisture cream
- Moisturising body balm

All went through without the SA help and in no particular order with the body bar (and were in a mixture of packaging)

However, the till did not allow the moisturising foam facial wash.

I wonder if the barcodes are different. I am going to check mine. Perhaps we could list the last few digits and see if the new packaging has another barcode???

They had not worked yesterday with the new packaging, but did work today with the older bars.

Therefore my theory has worked for me so far.

2 x light green packaged items will link-save
2 x dark green packaged items will link-save
1x light + 1x dark will not automatically link save and will need the sa to manually overide.

I still think somebody will tell me they have had a different experience, but this has been my experience over the last 3 days

PS I do hope this makes sense at it sounds clearer in my head than in writing lol!!

I know now where I think I am going wrong. We have the ludicrous situation that our Boots is split into two different shops either side of the road. One side of the road has the Boots shop with botanics for bodies (ie soap and body butter), the other side of the road has facial Botanics ie no soap but some moisturisers.

And you are not allowed to cross the road with your Boots shopping basket to do the rest of your shop in the other Boots :rotfl:

Some other section, there were other wash bags & flannels i think! Hope that helps! Loads left in my store, think its coz no1 knew it would work.

For those of you who missed it, you can but a Botanics wash mitt for £1.50 & get free moisturisers! Also foot stone thing £1.50

PMSL it would be so funny though if you walked out the door with your basket and told them you needed bits out of the other store!! :rotfl:

I now avoid going into town unless desperate, just the sight of Boots sends me into a rage. Say for instance my shopping comes to £3 in one Boots and I then spend £3 across the road, I wont be eligible for the £5/£3 voucher at the till because it is not counted as one transaction. I have tried pleading and argueing with various managers with no joy and having to write to Boots everytime gets very tedious.

Then quite often the machine works in one Boots but not in the other so you have to abandon your shopping and go back across the road to get your machine voucher.

In one Boots no-one mans the till, only at weekend so you have to join the hideous chemist queue...

Good idea, just checked.

They are both called Skin reviving body bar but the bar codes ARE different.

Dark green box barcode is 5 000167 060058

Light green box barcode is 5 045094 681068

I also noticed today that they had the £1.37 shave gel in both packaging today, so I bought the light one which link-saved fine with my light green label moisturisers

Today I went to a smaller store and, to my glee, they had 6 of the Reviving Bars on the shelf. My heart dropped though when I realised they were the darker gree boxes! However, I took them to the SA anyway along with my 6 'light green label' moisturisers and, sure enough, they wouldn't go through. After informing the SA about the offer she took my basket to another lady at another till and I showed them both the sign on the shelf stating 'ANY Botanics product'. They happily did manual overrides on all 6 and I got an apology! I felt so cheeky using my 100 points coupon from the Jan mag after all the fuss I had caused but the SA was lovely and I even got a No7/hair care voucher!

I got a mens moisturiser for £8.xx in dark packaging yesterday along with a dark green body bar no problem, so its not that the dark ones won't link-save at all.
