does anyone know if there is a maximum on the number of lower priced items you can buy via botanics to get the higher priced moisturisers?

Hi, not sure but I would think there is no limit, I did 2 at a time yesterday and worked fine. I also paid with points on one transaction and worked fine with that too.

Might be a simple question. I finally got a uk advantage card last week..and have yet to make a purchase using it.

Does anyone know if the offers in the advantage machine will be the same or will they get better once i start using the card?

I had a look yesterday and saw about 2 offers, wasn't sure if i just had gone into the wrong section... :|

They seem to get better when you use the card. Buy a couple of things on offer to get best value to start yourself off as Boots are often very expensive.

Bought six low priced Botanics items yesterday and got five pots of Body Butter and one pot of another moisturiser

The SA was bemused but I explained the deal to her and she was very happy to put them all through with no problems

I got a £1.37 Botanics shave gel this morning (cheapest thing and pressie for OH to boot!), got a £5 body butter free and used the 100 points voucher from this months Boots mag - so essentially got the 2 things for 37p!

The SA was really shocked and took the things back out of the bag. I explained it to her, then 2 other SA's came along and said "unbelievable - I wish we knew about these things" :rotfl: So all 3 of them are stocking up later today apparently. :rotfl:
  • I bought a load of this to give as presents for christmas when it had been reduced by 75%.

I will check it out in my local Boots tomorrow and see if it is as cheap in my shop, fingers crossed and thank you for letting us know :)

Weren't as cheap in my shops!!!

Does anyone know if the £5 voucher you use on N07 can be used on the reduced giftsets at £7.50? and if so, seeing as they were originally £15.00, can we get a free gift with them?

It says not, but as we all know, thats not always true ;)

The back of the voucher says it can't be used on reduced items or gift sets, so I didn't think so. I asked the (very nice incidentally!) No7 SA today and she said afraid not but was sorry she couldn't. So I got a lovely taffeta No7 nail varnish for £1 instead :T ... plus a bottle of Trevor Sorbie redhead shampoo for £1.49 with the other voucher :j

Those combined with the 2 cheapest botanics things I could find giving me 2 free huge pots of body butter (for sisters' birthday pressies this year :A ), PLUS 200 extra points with vouchers from this months boots mag has made my day a rather successful one. :D
  • so were all set for 75% xmas stuff off on the 15th?

Some of us are so sad (sorry - organised) that we are scheduling a visit to John Lewis to look for a new cooker (door fell off, then jammed shut) on that day, round trip of 90-odd miles, cos it's opposite a big Boots.

Which may mean you should all put your money on huge reductions on 12th! Or, of course, 16th.
