This may have been asked somewhere else but is it possible to gain advantage points if you buy things with a boots voucher?

Looks like the Botanics / hair removal offer has now finished, at least in my local store it has.

However, and I know this may be controversial, :o I did exchange 2 bottles of body glow for some items in the 1/2 price sale. As I look at it, Boots are not losing out financially and with fantastic deals like this, they will now have customers for life as a result of this thread. The SA who served me was aware of what I had done and said "I don't blame you" and was helping to point out the best 1/2 price deals, so I felt a bit less guilty.

    Moo x

The SA will be checking when further reductions are being applied to the sale items and will hopefully let me know tomorrow so I will keep you updated if I find anything out.
I was going to take over the world but got distracted by something sparkly.......

its says on the display stand

    buy any Botanics product and
    get a moituriser free.

    Exclusions apply (in little writing)

So with this in mind The cheapest I
could find in ours was a 200ml shower gel £3

On the display stand there was a 200ml
tube of moisturiser and a large 450ml tub of
    nourishing body butter £5.

I queried this with the assistant who
looked at it tried it though the till
and neither seemed to work, but said
this was a new offer and the smaller
moisturiser was definatly not part of
the offer, but the larger body butter was but
it was not on the system.

They did an over ride on the till and
let me have the two items for £3.

Has anyone else noticed this offer ?

also is there anything in the range that
    is cheaper than £3 ?

Yes. Have done this successfully in the past, and they will also let you use bonus points. They tend now to refund any balance to a gift card.

The only situation I am aware of in which they won't let you have points is if you pay with points.

No it doesnt work with another similar voucher(see the voucherinfo)
Voucher t&c's almost everytime states, that the voucher couldn't be used in conjunction with any other offer, vouher or discount. But we know that sometimes it does. Really does :D

Does anyone know when this offer will be finished?

Hi, my sis works for Boots and was told that the bag offer would run til 5th Jan so that all the stores could get rid of these as they had so many let from xmas. It was supposed to finish on 29th Dec.

I hate to be a stick in the mud but i have to have my say, its all well and good this money saving but when you start taking things back that you did not even pay anything for and then worrying if you will get the full £4 or whatever they cost (to buy on their own) to then obtain other goods is going a bit far, i thought it was just nice to get the freebie to use in the summer but this exchanging of a free item without producing the evidence that nothing was paid for it and then gaining something for nothing IS obtaining goods by deception, which IS a criminal offence!

I totally agree - i use this site in the spirit that :money: set it up with - to enable people to get the best possible deal. Although I do take advantage of lots of offers I dont think people should be posting about how to defraud - even if it is against big stores! Its the principle that counts and obviously some people do not have principles.

And no - i do not work for Boots!!

hi i've been reading the post regarding the exchanging of botanics- they are a free gift with hair removal products offered by boots not forcefully taken by customers. We all give and recieve gifts that sometimes are not suitable for use which we exchange expecially after xmas, in the same way there may be customers who have recieved botanics golden glow but would rather swap for something they can use there is nothing fraudulent about that, Boots are not going to lose out if this had been the case there would have been No exchange on golden glow signs next to the offer.Customer services are confirming that exchanges are allowed and it just may be a marketing ploy to attract more customers-Boots were probably hoping customers would return and exchange and spend more money in the process.
Yes it would be fraud if someone had stolen a box of say 100 botanics and then exchanged for other things but this is only people exchanging an unsuitable gift.Sorry if i offend any1 this is just my opinion.
