I have an old Toshiba notebook
Its a Satellite Pro 460CDT and has a 2GB hard drive
I need a new hard drive for it and need to know what is the maximum size it will take.
I downloaded the manual and a wad of info but havent found the answer
Can anyone help?
If it has any relevance its an intel Plll 166mhz 32kb cache
Has 32mb ram which i know needs an upgrade

well what are you going to put on it windows? whcih one
if you put win 98 or older you use FAT32 or FAT
FAT volumes up to 2 GB
FAT32 volumes up to 32 GB
but there might be hardware limits.
i would't use 40GB up but 40 might not work0
