Philips Onis Vox telephone

Hi. I have the Philips Onis Vox telephone - rather old - about 8 years. But it really has been the best phone and current replacements are not as nice in comparison.
However now the keypad is wearing out - sometimes it is impossible to press the 1, 2 or 3 keys - makes dialling somewhat interesting!
Is it possible to replace the keypad, or the bit underneath the keys?
If it really is going to be impossible, does anybody recommend a good replacement that is not too plastic / cheap feeling / etc?
Thank you!

Welcome to the MSE forums AlexisUK.
If it's 8 years old you may have difficulty getting parts so replacing the keys might be out of the question.
However, there are plenty on e-bay (I have a black Onis additional handset & charger - I think it's the 200 - I bought for £3.50 to work with the 2 handset and answering machine C&W DECT system I also bought on ebay for £1.71).
Have a look HERE.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
