Insurance Quote & Licence Query

Junior has had a licence since Oct 09 but only passed his test in September '10.

So when I answer the question as to how long he has had the licence, how should I answer ?

his provisional was exchanged for full uk and will go from his FULL license sept 10.
if he still has the provisional he needs to send it off with his pass certificate and exchange it for a full uk license wich will start from sept 2010

Sorry didn't make myself clear.

Jumior has got his full licence back from DVLA but when I get quotes on line (hopefully to get cash back as well) when it asks how long has he had his licence do I put o years or 1 year ?

A provisional licence is exactly that, provisional.

When he passed his test, it was replaced with a proper licence.

You put however long he has had his proper licence.

if u mean do u count the date he passed his test or the day the licence came through the post, then put from when the test was.

you would enter 0 years in the options box for insurance. some insurers ask for the exact date license from wich held wich would be the day he passed.
