Redundant from March 31st

I knew it was likely to happen but it is still an upset when it does.

I found out today and I am absolutely shattered. I have applied for a few jobs tonight online but tbh there isnt a lot out there.

I wont have any redundancy pay so finances are going to be tight - OH works and I will have JSA conts. based for 6 months.

Any tips?

I dont have any tips but, I'm in the exacly the same boat. Job finishes Feb 7th and as OH works will be cont. based for me too. I've been seaching the job sites all morning and it really is slim pickings. Here's hoping something comes along for both of us, and soon! Good luck

Not a lot I can say on the income front - but on another tack - come on over to the Old Style Board. On the O.S. Board we are well versed in making 1p do the work of 5p - so you'll pick up lots of useful tips on living more cheaply.
