I wonder if anyone can help me please (without sarcasm from some:o)
I don`t sell a lot, not for the want of trying lol, but I am not too
good at expressing my self or the item I am selling.
Anyway, I have in my wardrobe a long fur coat (Coney) French Rabbit, size 14
it is in beautiful condition in every way, no marks, or stitching undone, or holes in pockets, in fact it looks new.
I bought it late 60s or early 70s
Is it possible that one of you experienced sellers would draft me an appropriate listing please
Many many thanks for any help offered

Neither item are my sort of thing Mrs A, but as a suggestion, if it were me, I'd have a look at similar items (particularly recently sold, similar items that sold for the best prices), to see how other sellers have described theirs. This should give you a guide as to how to successfully describe your own items.

Hi
Ive sold a few items on Ebay , I have always looked at other 'like' listings for ideas. Other listings can help you with wording your description etc .
You started to describe the item quite well its just a case of expanding just a little. You dont want your auction to be overloaded with information either.Always take pictures and make sure you include pics of whole coat, colours & labels that mights show sizes and manufacturer.
It helps by saying your garmet comes from a smoke free/ pet free home if that is the case.
Always welcome questions about the item in the body of the description.0 -
Thank you porto belo I will do:)0

I have taken photos from all angles, it is all about putting the correct wording lol,
at my age (71) I do get rather muddled0 -
I agree that the best thing to do is to look at other successful listings. I do that all the time, when I list something I haven't listed before.
You can also look at a good website, although many give photos and not much description.0
