CCJ on credit file - no nothing about it

in Credit cards
Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place. I recently applied for a credit card but was rejected. Other than a mortgage, I have never had any debt so I sent off for my credit report which has a CCJ from last year which is marked as satisfied. I assume this means that it has been paid.
I have never been in debt let alone had a CCJ so it must be a mistake so how do I get it removed from my credit file?

You'll need to contact the court that issued the CCJ and get paperwork of the judgement. Once you have that and know who applied for the judgement and what the debt is supposed to be then you should be able to move forward. If it is not your debt then you should be able to get the judgement set aside in the court.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
