The best place to get the bunk is on line. As I said buy the mattresses separately. Avoid big retailers and big brand names if you want to get good quality at a low price.

I have been looking around for a couple of weeks for bunk beds and seen lovely, solid ones in M & S. I can't see them on their website now to post a link but I have seen them in store and they were really solid and look like they'd last a good while. They were £350, without mattresses (I remember reading previously about packages not having very good quality mattresses) and come in pine or white. I'm hoping to find a discount code soon so I can order! Oh, their delivery people assemble them too (big advantage to me).
    Found them http://m.marksandspencer.com/mt/www.marksandspencer.com/Marks-and-Spencer-Bunkbed/dp/B004D350MI?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_1&nodeId=536581031&sr=1-1&qid=1295817090&pf_rd_r=0P0E3P6FKJ5HF1ESAJDS&pf_rd_m=A2BO0OYVBKIQJM&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=536581031&pf_rd_p=215570647&pf_rd_s=related-items-3

    Try BedBunksWorld.

Plenty of choice and better VFM than the Argos

Not the cheapest of places that's for sure, you should be able to get the Lincoln Bunk for around the £200 mark delivered. Not £239 plus a tenner delivery.

The Julian Bowen bunks are over priced, they also are selling more then the 2 Julian Bowen bunks. It only shows 2 in the Bowen link. But they have 6 Bowen bunks for sale.

They are also part of the same company as mattressworld, who many people on MSE were complaining about a while ago.

    Nice to see you back.

    I do try..lol
  • Ok managed to find new bunk beds that spilt in to two single beds and two new very decent matresses(had a try!) at a discount place near when we live for £240 all in. My dad knows the owner so we're going to go there with him at some point as he's good at getting discounts! ;) If not we'll just get the matresses as we've seen a similar bunk bed from a good seller on ebay for £120..so £220!

Thank you for all your help guys, much appreciated :)
