OPTICAM 1025. can anyone help?

I bought this Opticam 1025 Camera/Binoculars/Video which came with a CD-Rom that includes Arcsoft Photo Impression 4.0/Arcsoft Videoimpression 1.6. When I ran this CD-Rom through my computer (Windows Vista Home Premium) it comes up with the message "an error has occured while running the set up". When I then plugged in the USB cable from camera to port it says "Windows needs to install driver for the Camera" I clicked on "locate & install driver software recommended". After this it asked me to insert the disc. Then the message appeared "your webcam isn't compatible with this version of windows" & goes on to say that Sonix Technology doesn't plan to offer updates for this webcam to solve this problem. I have done a few searches on the web & it would appear other people have experienced the same problem as me but nobody has come up with a solution to it. Has anyone had any experience with it or maybe I should just contact the company I purchased it from for a possible refund. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. thanks

Personally I would go down the refund route if there are no Vista/7 drivers available.
If there are no Vista drivers, then I assume there will be no Windows 7 drivers either, and that the drivers available (and supplied) are for XP. As Microsoft have now discontinued sales and mainstream support for XP, the Opticam would only be supported on an obsolete operating system.

thanks davb for your quite reply. Yes I think I will now contact the company for hopefully a refund. Its damn annoying though especially as it didn't state the operating systems it was suitable for.
