Hurray,
In my quest for Custard Powder I've found that Morrisons sell their own brand at 65p a 300g tub rather than at least 95p for 300g of Birds. Haven't tried it yet but I'll only post about it if doesn't make good custard.
Sorry, I don't like the sachets of powder that include powdered milk and are made with hot water. Haven't found any that taste as good as simple custard powder made with fresh milk.Nice to save.0 -

Makes fine custard. I use it all the time as I am too tight to buy birds. But if it has to be birds I believe that in pound stretchers it is 75p a tub.
