Warwick Castle is owned by the same people who own Alton Towers and Madam Taussads (SP)
During the summer Fanta bottles of pop were having bogof deals on their labels. Other than looking on the website I'm not sure if you will get discount tickets at this time of year.
Dont they do family saver tickets ?
Have you looked at the ice skating they do in december ? it looks fab !
Not much else to do in warwick is there unless you drive to stratford and do the touristy things.Just owe Dad £2500 for a new car

Paid off car loan 22nd August 2009. :T0 -
Family ticket comes up at £38 according to the website. Does your 4 year old look 4 years old? It's free for under 4s. In fact 2 adults and 1 child would be slightly cheaper than £38.
Further digging brings up this lastminute.com offer at £12.50 per head, excluding 1 year old, but including something to eat and drink.Fiscal drag, that's my problem. Too many people dragging on my fiscals.0 -
Thank you both...was hoping to get in for half price. have been on website and yes my four year old is tall and actually looks five so will have to pay! May have to give it a miss this time...thanks anyway0

I think we had some vouchers from the invitation book to get some money off. They are books that charities often sell that contain money off vouchers. Last year the book cost £15 and we have mostly used it for visits to the cinema and pizza hut. Unfortunately the website doesn't tell you what each book contains and there is a regional element to it too, if you're not permanently resident in the area then it may not be any use. Having said that, there are discounts for the bigger attractions around the country e.g. Legoland, even if they are not in the immediate area, and you get more vouchers through the post from time to time.
If you are interested in getting one, PM me and I will send you my reference number. That way you get £5 off the book and I get a £5 voucher.
I would recommend going to Warwick Castle in the summer anyway, although it may cost a few pounds more. There were a number of displays on, such as sword-fighting, archery, and falconry, and a very impressive jousting tournament - think A Knight's Tale if you have seen it. Also try to get there early, the queues were back to the M40 when we went and if your wife is sitting next to you desparate to go to the toilet you certainly hear about it.Fiscal drag, that's my problem. Too many people dragging on my fiscals.0 -

I got a Warwick Castle voucher the other day - free entry with one paying adult. Let me know if you want it

Thanks getcarter. Was just sat here thinking I ought to let you know how we got on! We went to Kedleston Castle, less than half price of Warwick and just as good fun for the kids. We also went to Hatton Farm/retail park on Saturday which was brilliant! Something for everyone! Farm animals and play ground things for kids...craft shops for me and a food fayre for dad! Food fayre was brilliant and we practically had lunch for free tasting all the freebies! And Sunday...went for a stroll around Stratford upon Avon. Really nice weekend all in all...Mum and Dad treated us to the Hilton as a chrimbo present so also got swimming and food for free...oh and we had a game of superbowl...gosh...fitted a lot in! Thanks to everyone!0
