I never said that what has happened to you all was funny, I only said the comment that Lush made to hackers was funny.
They could hardly go effing and blinding at them could they.
It is much easier to cancel your card now, that it is to sort out the mess if you don't then find out you've been stung.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

Mine too! I have two 02 payments on mine. Just rang the bank and they have cancelled my card and refunded. Just happened that I screened down the page on my bank statement and saw 2 x £15 O2 payments - I'm on Vodaphone!!
We did too...plus a £300 wine order made directly after the o2 prepay 'test' transactions - our Lush order was made in December.0 -
I've just had to spend an hour trying to figure out which card I used to order from Lush in November. Finally found the email order confirmation and phoned the bank that that specific card is with. Then had to wait 17 minutes on hold to be answered! and then finally got it cancelled.
If they have known about it for months, why only tell us now! Disgusting and my evening ruined through damn thieves...sheesh!
But at least the possibly compromised card is now cancelled but I have to wait a week for a new one. Lovely.0 -
I'm truly sorry so many would have had their card details stolen, especially over the busy Christmas period, what an awful way to start the year.
I was the victim of card fraud early last year around May, the Debenhams site was hacked and my details were taken, I won't go into the in's and out's of it all but was devastating especially as I only found out when my card was declined for a transaction and when I called my bank they put me through to the fraud team, no call from them to inform me though.
Although it is quite disgusting that their 24 security system did not pick up on the malicious activity for four months (which makes you wonder why it suddenly works and how they are able to trace it back that far) at least they have made an announcement to let people know. Not many companies would admit it, Debenhams certainly didn't. It does not excuse the fact it took them so long though.Comping wishlist for 2017

OMG thats terrible, I know rootkits are bad but didnt realise how bad, it makes me mad that were not even safe on the internet in your own home:mad:I luv freebies0 -
£1K of fraudulent transactions on my Visa card.
Martyn should put this story in his newsletter, it deserves more exposure.0 -

The MSE team post threads on the Grabbit subsection themselves when there's a particular serious story or something that affects a large proportion of MSE members as the Grabbit section has a lot of exposure, so those directly affected can see. There doesn't necessarily ALWAYS have to be a grabbit, not if it's something so serious that people NEED to see.
I hope there's not many affected. Hacking is pretty lowlife. There needs to be a system dealing with them.0 -
So sorry to those all affected. Lush facebook is full of it now..
Hope everyone surives this okay x0 -
I have just checked when my replacment/new card was sent and it was dated 18th November so my card was 'done' early November but my bank picked it up and froze my account.
As I've not used Lush online since I used it once in October (so high chance that is where my card was done) I'm hoping I'm ok as I've got a new card now, and have paid off my credit card and closed that account, one card is easier to manage.
Hope that is ok but guessing the hackers could have my personal details like adress etc so maybe I should get a credit check done.
Hallmark - sorry about the 1k on your card, it's awful this - will you get it refunded?Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.
