I was in Tesco in Cheltenham today to buy some sandwiches for a train journey and was given an extra receipt saying Congratulations you have received a gift from clubcard. I have to send it off to Swipe to Win with an address in Hertford.

Has anyone received one of these or know anything about it?

i use my clubcard as a petrol points card.
20 points every fortnight, and the cheapest petrol in town :-)

........The extra points come on the statements seperatly..I think they are called TPF points...also I am sure they appear shortly after on the bottom of the receipts.

On the website it says they send vouchers after you have earn 150 points but how many vouchers does this equate to? Is it a penny a point like boots?
We have a local tesco express where we buy daily bread and milk etc but are always forgetting to take the card - might make the effort if i knew what it was worth

Hi and welcome to the site ummiesbump. Yes, its a penny a point. Do you have the new style card? If not you can phone the free helpline number on your card and request the new style card that comes with two mini cards that go on a keyring, one each for you and your partner (if you have one). That way if you forget to take the card its no problem because its always on your keyring.

Like Edingburghlass I also received a "You've won a prize" coupon. Does anyone know what the prizes are? I haven't seen a promotion about it. On second thoughts I did hand in a Wine Club "Win a holiday to South Africa" voucher, so it's probably 50 Clubcard points off a bottle of their wine!

On the other hand Edingburghlass and I could be off to South Africa for a couple of weeks!

I have to send the coupon with name, address and phone number to Swipe to Win and then it says Just Julia Ltd.

I did a bit of Googling today and found that Just Julia Ltd is a book about a man changing to a woman or vice versa, so I think perhaps I have won a book? Must send the coupon off tomorrow and see what happens

No idea if this is a Nationwide promotion or not.

Just Julia is the promotions company that Tesco use quite a lot for their prize draws - esp. the clubcard magazine comps.

Anyone else get their Tesco mailing? They sent me a Double Points for one transaction voucher. I noticed in the mailing that my notso local (the one I go to more often anyway) store are having a Double Points Weekend next weekend. According to this letter using the Double Points voucher during this weekend means QUADRUPLE points!!! Check your mailings everyone and plan your big shopping spree chez Tesco!!!:D


BTW I don’t know how this works with Clubcard Plus (since I don’t have one of those) but bonus points vouchers will only give the amount stated e.g. 20 points when you spend £1 on apples will just give the 20 points.
