First time I have been on here and asked a question - hope I am in the right place - if not -sorry.
This is probably very simple for you techies. I am trying to connect the router to my Evesham PC, however the instructions state that I must locate the ethernet cable from dsl modem that is connected to the PC's ethernet adapter.
The problem is I have a factory fitted internal modem and need to know how I locate the ethernet cable and adapter. I know you will probably think I am daft, but can you help in laymans terms that any eejit can understand. Many thanks.

if you only use dial up then the dsl modem won't be there. You just need to connect the router to your network interface card on the back of the pc using the cable provided. By rights the cable will only fit in the interface card so it should be the only 'hole' on the PC that looks like it will fit, i.e. it looks the same as the modem 'hole' but a tiny bit bigger0
