...on selected trains. Plus £1 Admin charge.
This is the advance fare offered by Southern Railway on their website. It all depends on the timing, and you have to take that train. Some return trips are over £20!
The last few years the return trip London Eastbourne was always £14 at the very least so this is pretty amazing. It's cheaper than travel within London!
I don't know the prices to other towns on the South Coast, but it's worth checking.

Sorry -- I meant £1 admin charge. Changed it.0

That's great. Have you thought it might be better news posting it in the UK holidays section? Look in the main index for MSE.0

There wasnt a £1 admin charge when I booked last week?
I got a return for 2 adults and 1 child for £12.50 to London from Arundel

It seems the offer is over -- I checked again today and the cheapest fares on offer is £4.50 to £9; and then only if you search one-way. If you search for return the cheapest is £13.50.

Maybe it was just last week?
I definitely paid an admin charge, though.0 -
There was a special offer last week - now over
Don't understand the admin charge though unless there's one for a sub-£5 order.0 -
Damn! But it must have stopped this Wednesday -- I got it on that day!0
