Is this really the spirit of Quidco members.Let's hope Barclays don't pull out like HSA did.Thankfully they have returned.

Please read the blog regarding previous problems.....

    Message from Quidco
To hammer on the old point again, the reason for all this trouble has been people who signed up to HSA simply to receive cashback and then cancel immediately. This was widely posted and discussed on a popular forum which HSA saw and obviously reacted immediately by pulling the programme. We are fortunate enough that they have waited to see the fall-out from this and have finally re-launched with Quidco. The lesson is clear, abuse it and lose it. That’s the way it’s going to be, from Europcar, to Magazine Group, to HSA you would think this would be clear enough by now. The actions of an abusive few ruin these programmes for people who genuinely are interested. To make our position clear once again also, we have no patience or tolerance for abusive activity at Quidco and any account with abusive activity will be terminated along with the earnings within.

Whats the problem , you take out a contents and buildings policy seperately where does it say you have to take them together ?

Are you saying im taking out a policy and then cancelling and keeping the cashback, sounds like it from the second post you made

Has anyone actually obtained two cashbacks with separate buildings and contents insurance?
This must mean in some cases that the you are being paid to insure your own home..I cannot see any reason why the companies will accept this!
If you take out insurance on this basis then I would not be surprised if they refused to pay the cash back and in the end the insurance could be expensive.

You are being paid cashback for taking out a policy nowhere does it state that you have to take contents and buildings together on one policy, if you are that concerned then take buildings with one company and contents with another.

    Hi Deanos
There alot of things that Quidco don't say you should do but that hasn't stopped members trying to get the cashback incorrectly.
I'm not saying you are going to cancel these policies however is it a fair way to get two payments out of the payer?
You're contents may only be £75 and you're buildings on a different call will be let's say £120.In effect Barclays owe you £55 and you've got them for free.Screw the banks if you want, but you're using Quidco's good name to get you're money.
Is this fair to involve them?My guess is you will not be paid both cashbacks.
Let's hope Barclays continue to offer a good payment with Quidco.
