Hi
This maybe me being negative, but after reading a few threads on here I worry!
I have just sold £15 worth of M&S vouchers for £16 inc free p&p....however the winner is new user with 0 feedback (signed up yesterday), the auction ended today.
Now am I right in thinking £16 is too good a price for £15 worth of vouchers considering their feedback? Should I withdraw the paypal payment they have sent me & wait on it to clear before posting the vouchers and let them know that I shall be doing this?

Some ebayers tend to go a little crazy on bidding and you do get sometimes more money then you would have expected or ebayers paying you more for an item then what you would pay in a shop.
I personally would Record delivery the item - in this way you would be protected against the event the ebayer does a chargeback for not getting the item ( you do get some ebayers doing this ) . I would also take photos of the items that you are sending.
One instance I had was when I sold some cinema tickets to an ebayer and he goes on to tell me they are fakes and are photocopies. I told him I got plenty of photos of the actual item which I sent to him - after that I never heard from him again. The guy did have a decent feedback so regardless of looking at the feedback you got to make sure that you have sufficient evidence that they are legitimate vouchers and are sent Recorded as evidence they are sent
Also make sure he\she is Paypal verified so you are also protected.0 -
thanks for you reply.
I had intended to send the item via recorded anyway. I have done a quick check on the buyer to see their recent bids (thanks goofbay!) - they have won several other items. Should I hang back for a couple of days and see how the other sales go? I don't think they are paypal verified but cannot check as paypal will not let me in!
They have received their first feedback since my posting however that was for an auction that also ended today.0 -
To check if they are paypal verified.
Look at the payment the buyer has made on the Paypal website. Click on History tab and then on click on Details on this particular payment. Scroll down to see the address of the buyer it should either say Confirmed or Unconfirmed. If it says Confirmed he\she is paypal verified. Seller Protection Policy should also say Eligible.
The choice is yours if you want to hang back on the sale. Some new ebayers tend to get bad publicity as many have had bad experiences from new ebayers however we were all once new to ebay so I wouldn't look at this in a bad way.0
