Allowances cuts and pay freeze for two years, I wonder how much the MP expenses are getting cut by?

    GYH(S) cut from 12 to 10.

In two years time, HTD public will be increased to 9 miles PC, meaning many people will lose.

GYH(T) and GYH(S) mileage rate cut to 25p mile.

Totally disgusting. I realise cuts need to be made, but maybe the MPs should lead by example.

Oh, and it's nice to see a NFF representative finally posting. :)

Do you also post on Rum Ration?

I thought the Army/Navy/Royal Airforce were tri-service now. Are the claims available different?

Pay and allowances are tri-service, however, I think they affect the different Services in different ways.

    Hello Fergie76,

Yes the NFF has indeed joined the MSE message boards and check the posts to see what issues are affecting our families. We also monitor Rum Ration, Rear Party and RNCom!

However, if you have a query or issue you would like us to look into may I suggest you contact the NFF directly by telephone: 023 9265 4374 - as we check the e-mails very frequently and it will be the quickest way to get a response.

Thank you for posting the link to our website - I included directions to the site as I still cant post links (argh) but the link is much more convenient.

    Hello Danlojo,
Yes as Fergie76 has explained - Pay & Allowances are Tri-Service but some changes will affect the three Services in different ways and to varying extents.

Thank you to everyone for their feedback. The NFF is here to represent Royal Naval & Royal Marines personnel and their extended families. We collate your feedback and responses to feed up through the Chain of Command and to Government Ministers. If you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to complete our website poll on the changes to allowances - at the top right of the screen (search for the Naval Families Federation in your internet search engine) .

If you have any queries or thoughts you would like to pass on directly to the NFF team please call: 023 9265 4374 or e-mail via our website.

    Many thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Emma - NFF
