Laptop Problems

For 3 days now my laptop has gone on meltdown (virtual memory too low) i have a sony vaio plenty of ram (768) i have full security macafee and run several spyware programes regular so pretty sure i'm not infected.
The loading light on the laptop is on most of the time as thou somthing is running and everything is very very very slow. Then now and again it seems to catch up with itself and be ok for a while and then bang (virtual memory out) and back to being very slow.
Any ideas?

how full is the disk? https://www.ccleaner.com

Which process is causing the problem (ctrl atl del, taskmanager, processes, click the utilisation column header)

These will give you a good idea what is the hog..

if you go into task manager, processes tab, there is a utilisation column, click on it, and it sorts the processes into order, so that the one that is hogging the cpu is at the top.

you have plenty of disk space (virtual memory uses hd space), so that is not the problem

dumprep just means something has crashed, and it is writing the crashdump to disk, try using the links to find out what is causing it, or start, run, eventvwr

or post you hijackthis log and click analyse..
