Self employed and may need time off for operation

I'm probably going to need an operation which can be a bit risky. In the best case scenario I'll be off work a week, then can go back on light duties for a couple of weeks. In the worst case scenario, I'll need to take at least four weeks off.
I'm self employed and do pay Class 2 NI contributions. Can I claim anything while I'm off work? I know I don't get SSP but wondered if there was anything else.

If you are self employed, you should look into private insurance to cover times like this as well.0

Insurance doesn't cover pre-existing conditions and only pays out after 30 days sickness. Here I go again on my own....0
