Redundant - JSA/company pension

I am being made redundant at the end of March at the age of 57. I am not clear about the rules for claiming JSA as I am entitled to claim a small (around £4000 per year) company pension if I elect to do so.
Am I still able to claim contribution based JSA when I become redundant? Have looked on the Jobcentre website without much luck.
I'm confused and worried about what to do.

You can get an occupational or personal pension of up to £50 a week before your contribution based JSA is affected. This applies regardless of your age. However, if it exceeds £50, JSA entitlement is reduced penny for penny.
