Bl**dy Halifax! Rate jacking again!

i have a Halifax credit card, always have a balance on it and pay it on time every month. last year they pushed up the rate from 9.95% to 14.95% and I have just had a letter from them that in April they will be pushing it up to 17.94%!! Time to get rid I think!!

I have just paid my Halifax card off and closed my account today. Few of my friends rates are at 25.5% with them there on the rise again :eek:.

You'd surely be insane to get rid of a card with 17.9& rate? You don't get many of those these days.

My thoughts exactly - I was chuffed when my Santander Zero came through at 18.9%
