I hit the grand age of 50, 96 hours after the april 6th 2010 deadline for being able to draw cash (without now being 55 ) against private pension funds.
Due to the fact that I missed the notice of change I had continued to rack up almost £30k of debt on cards, which I had intended to use the cash from a pension fund running since my early 20s at an earlier employer to repay.
Basically I'm in debt, have barely enough cash to get from month to month. Despite some excellent help from a couple of credit card companies ( Amex and M+s money have been particularly understanding) I need to know if there is ANYTHING I can do baring in mind circumstances to release my old pension fund cash, without being in this situation for another 4 and a bit years ?
Thanks.
