My house was on the telly recently and we've just received a 4 page letter from a lady who saw the programme and grew up in the house (in 1940s.) She had some lovely stories to tell and even enclosed pics of her dog on the back step!
She didn't put a return address but did put her telephone number, I think I should invite her round for a cup of tea but I'm putting it off as I'm feeling a bit shy

Wow that is lovely. Gives your house a bit of history. Oh definately phone her, I would love to have the chance to go back to my childhood home. I often give myself nightmares as I dream about going back and am happily looking around when the current owners arrive back home. Would be great to be there and not end up waking up in a sweat :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Last week my dh's car rolled over on black ice, he and my dog got out almost totally unscathed. I'll be smiling all year that they are alright.0
