In that case you should present it in a way that shows that you purchased them yourself, but simply gave your wife's name so that she could sign for the goods upon delivery.

yeah i will be very surprised if it goes to the fos, ive sent complaint letter in today to santander about the letter not being reeived and overall dreadful customer service surround the who9le issue advising would be forwarding to fos so should hopefully be resolved in 28 days once receive disclaimner to sign

Should be covered by s75 then. You contracted with the merchant and you are the main cardholder. Your wife was not involved at all except as a delivery address.

ive just sent letter to fos about the whole process, currently stand over 6 weeks on without even receiving fraud liabilty sheet i needed to sign to start the whole process off. absolute joke, they didnt even say they were sending me anything and only told me last week when i asked what was going on that they hadnt received it. also advised when i complained again today after not receiving that it was printed last friday but could take up to 10 days from then
