White goods from John Lewis

I'm just wondering if anyone knows with Jon Lewis' price match does this apply to internet prices on goods as well?

nope. I think price match only applies instore and with a particular radius of the store.

I don't know if things have changed or if decisions vary from shop to shop but i got them to price match a washing machine against a www price approx 2 years back.
  • If you look at their policy online you will see they do not price match online stores. Also, go for the cheapest, don't go to John Lewis and think it is worth paying a bit extra because you will get better service...our fridge finally got delivered the 3rd time they said they were going to deliver. Between my partner and I we had to take 3 half days off work. It was appalling service. We should have had the fridge ready at our new house for when we moved in but because it didn't arrive we lost a whole lot of good food that went off.
  • I'm currently in the middle of a "delivery hell" scenario with JL regarding furniture but have just bought a dishwasher from them becuase it was the cheapest on the net - it surprised me - I used a voucher and quidco and the free delivery meant the best deal :0
