I've got a fishing catapault and some water balloons. Probably not enough to strike fear into many loanee's!

If the OP was prepared to pay 4 times the amount back within a couple of days I'd be more than interested in helping out. Wouldn't have the heart to though in reality. I don't think I'm cut out for sharking. Probably going to stick to tuna steaking!

Please dont go near a payday lender

Why? They make it quite clear how much the loan will cost if you pay it back in the time you say you will. If the need is great enough to justify this cost AND the borrower KNOWS they will be able to pay it back when required it is an option worth considering.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

check out jojo's dodgy website - have you got any jewellery to sell - they'll put the money in your bank account the same day and they'll give you a completely free loan for 62 days.

    Totally legit!

You've been watching far too much Blackadder!
  • In another thread, the OP says he/she is in a position to save £400 a month. I agree with other posters, if it's a bill, there is definitely no need to borrow money just for the sake of a few days

    Interesting to read that.

seems like a wind up, and i think mikek is in on it, or just very stupid, either way mikek is annoying and not helpful in the least!

if you don't tell us why you need £500 in the next two days we can't help properly!
  • Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I got there in the end.

To everyone that got nasty about it £500 is £500 no matter what its for. It wasn't for a pug, it wasn't for a bill, it wasn't a matter of life or death, it wasn't to get drunk with. I started the thread for suggestions. I couldn't use my savings because of the savings account I use.

Thanks again to everyone that helped.
