I had a casino night with roulette and black jack tables and also a cabaret act.. hired a hall with buffet for 70 guests, i loved it - hubby wanted to take me to vegas but I doubt anything would have compared to this night...

Just realised, makes me sound old. I'm 41, although don't feel any different from my 20s. :D

I never celebrated my 40th. One of my friends was 40 earlier this year and we all went out for a Cantonese buffet - we all chipped in. She keeps telling me that I will be doing something for my 50th this year but I won't.

    I may be 50 but I don't feel a day over 21.:D

Your only ever as old as you feel every year is my 16th and my best pressie was dirty dancing on video classic movie. Some people I know are so anal bout their age but eventually they will grow up and realize that getting older just makes you wiser :)

this is so true , although i'm still in my 20's so don't know what 40's feel like. but i inside don't feel any diff then 17,18, 19 etc. except i'm of course now more responsile as i have a family. i din't feel any older than when i met hubby at 19.

I don't mind what age i am and i often say omg i'm 30 soon  but not in a i can't cope with it way. but in a where the hell did the last 10 yrs go. i want life to slow down a bit so i can enjoy it more. i hate looking to the future and saying i can't wait for x ,y or z as it feels like i'm wishing my life away. and i want to enjoy and savour every mintue.
